Image Caching

The default file format of GT is .gtzip.

This file format contains all images used in the template including those used by Fill and Stroke.

Once the image has been added to the template, any changes to the original source file are ignored as GT keeps its own copy

in the .gtzip file.

If you need the ability to change the images at a later date and have those updates reflected in the template, save

the template as a .gtxml file instead.

Note that regardless of file format, changing image files while a template is open will have no effect.

The correct way to dyanamically change images while the template is open is to use Data Sources or Shortcuts/API from within vMix.
